Mirabeau Rosé Gin Expands Further in China with Brinkman Beverages.
Provence-based producer Mirabeau has announced a new partnership with Brinkman Beverages to expand its presence in China. The collaboration will introduce three of Mirabeau’s signature rosés – Forever Summer, Pure, and Classic – alongside the relaunch of the distinctive Mirabeau Dry Rosé Gin.
Founded in 2010 by Jeany and Stephen Cronk, Mirabeau has become one of the most recognised rosé producers from Provence, now distributed in more than 40 markets worldwide. Co-Founder Jeany Cronk said the Brinkman selection reflects the breadth and spirit of Mirabeau: “Classic is our original expression of Provence rosé, while Pure is our flagship modern take, inspired by the fresh, vibrant spirit of the French Riviera. Forever Summer embodies the carefree lifestyle of the South of France, and our Rosé Gin captures the region in a bottle with all its botanicals. Together, this portfolio invites you to enjoy life the Mirabeau way — relaxed, joyful, and always in the spirit of Provence Classic showcases our original expression, Pure is our refreshed, modern take, Forever Summer embodies the essence of Provence lifestyle, and our Rosé Gin captures the region in a bottle with all its botanicals. Together, this portfolio is a true invitation to enjoy life the Mirabeau way — indulgent, relaxed, and in the spirit of Provence.”
For Brinkman Beverages, the appeal lies not only in the quality of the spirits but also in their ability to embody a lifestyle. Alan Chen, Owner and General Manager of Brinkman, explains: “While rosé wines and premium gin remain relatively small categories in China, Mirabeau represents more than just exceptional drinks—it encapsulates the essence of the South of France lifestyle. Its focus on self-gifting, indulgence, and convivial experiences aligns perfectly with emerging trends among Chinese consumers. In many ways, Mirabeau offers a liquid expression of what people aspire to in terms of enjoyment and celebration. Plus, its distinctive packaging is a true showstopper wherever it appears.”
The launch comes at a pivotal time for the premium spirits market. According to Manuel Arce, Nimbility’s Spirits & Beverage Director, “The Mirabeau Dry Rosé Gin is being relaunched in China at exactly the right time and with the ideal partner. The premium gin category here remains niche but is steadily growing. Sophisticated gins like Mirabeau’s are well-positioned to leverage the evolving attitudes of Chinese consumers. The market has shifted dramatically—from virtually no premium gins, to near saturation before COVID, and now to a rebirth of the category driven by increasing demand for quality and authentic storytelling.”
Nimbility, which supports Mirabeau’s expansion across Asia, sees growing opportunity for rosé in the region. Francesca Martin, Co-Founder and Partner at Nimbility, noted: “We are thrilled to finally see the APAC region warming to the rosé category. As a niche segment, it has often been challenging to find the right partners, particularly given the difficult market conditions in recent years. Seeing the market now pulsing with ideas and dynamism is incredibly inspiring. We recently hosted a fantastic "Pink Summer Event" with Mirabeau in partnership with the ANA Intercontinental in Okinawa, and we cannot wait to see how Mirabeau will come to life in China.”
Brinkman Beverages, known for representing speciality cocktail spirits and premium beverages, will begin distributing Mirabeau’s portfolio through its established channels starting in October. With a robust distribution network of over 80 active wholesalers across China—primarily concentrated in Eastern China, where savvy drinkers and leading bars are prevalent—Brinkman ensures strong market penetration. Its current portfolio includes more than 40 world-class brands such as Ron Abuelo, Merlet, Giffard liqueurs, premium mixers like Thomas Henry, and bitters such as The Bitter Truth.
