ALEJANDRO BULGHERONI FAMILY VINEYARDS ITALIA PARTNERS WITH NIMBILITY TO BUILD MARKETS ACROSS APAC
Alejandro Bulgheroni Family Vineyards Italia has partnered with Nimbility to build their presence, visibility and reputation across APAC markets including Dievole from Chianti Classico, Podere Brizio and Poggio Landi from Montalcino and Tenuta Meraviglia and Tenuta Le Colonne from Bolgheri. The partnership considerably strengthens Nimbility’s Italian portfolio adding key regional benchmarks to the portfolio.
Nimbility will firstly work to secure the right distribution partners in each territory for the brands and then help to develop the network of downstream trade customers with a strong focus on the fine dining and hospitality sector for building reputation and visibility of the wineries. Initial key focus markets will be Greater China, Japan and Korea.
“We are delighted to be partnering with Nimbility to build across the markets in APAC,” says Stefano Capurso, Executive President of Alejandro Bulgheroni Family Vineyards Italia.
“Over the past few years we have invested seriously both in the vineyards and in the cellars of our Italian wineries to increasingly enhance the excellence of the territories in which we are. Partnering with Nimbility means we can provide the vital in market support required by our distribution partners in APAC. Their team of experts has a profound knowledge of the markets and can help us to position our wines correctly to ensure they find their way to wine lovers across the region.”
Alejandro Bulgheroni Family Vineyards Italia owns the largest area of organically certified vineyards in Tuscany and has put a huge effort in recent years behind this more sustainable method of viticulture. All their estates are certified organic. Thanks to in-depth analysis of the soils and the soil management system they adopt, they can guarantee oxygen and organic substance in order to keep soil healthy and vines in balance. This agronomic method adopted helps the roots of the plants to go deeper in the soil, which is a good way to deal with climate changes and for the expression of the typicity. The attention starts in the vineyard, a fundamental element in achieving excellence: the improvements in the quality and individuality of the wines have been reflected in recent international critics scores.
With over 1000 years of history, Dievole is deeply rooted in Chianti Classico and is a cornerstone winery for the portfolio. Podere Brizio and Poggio Landi represent two very different areas and styles of Brunello di Montalcino which makes it possible to satisfy the needs of differing consumer preferences and price brackets. While Tenuta Meraviglia and Tenuta Le Colonne are the group’s push into the up-and-coming region of Bolgheri. Famed orginally for producing some of the finest Super Tuscans, Bolgheri is a wine region recognised worldwide for the excellent expression of grape varieties such as Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and other international varieties. Here the group will inaugurate next year a new wine cellar, carved out of an abandoned quarry, a very beautiful architectural project and at the same time an important project for environmental recovery.
“We are really excited to begin working with Alejandro Bulgheroni Family Vineyards Italia”, says Francesca Martin, Founding Partner at Nimbility.
“These wineries will add both breadth and depth to our portfolio of Italian wines enabling us to offer a far greater range of quality wines to our customers. The estates have history, authenticity, international standing and most importantly, exceptional quality behind them so we are looking forward to being able to tell their unique stories and introduce these stunning wines to wine lovers across APAC.”
