Nichole Mao Makes Partner at Nimbility

We are enormously excited to announce that Nichole Mao has been promoted to the position of Partner at Nimbility, effective immediately.

Nichole joined Nimbility in April 2019 and since then has played an instrumental role within the business, building our sales and marketing function across North Asia and in particular, Mainland China.

Working closely with our brand partners on strategy, on expanding and improving distribution, and on crafting and executing brand activation and advocacy, Nichole has proved integral to the planning and implementation of our brands’ strategies across the region. She brings an enormous wealth of expertise and in-depth market knowledge to the team and has proved an exceptional asset in delivering key results throughout the course of the global COVID-19 pandemic.

Having joined us from New Zealand’s Villa Maria Estate, for whom she had been managing the Greater China market since 2011, over the years Nichole has developed a robust and in-depth knowledge of China’s wine market, and a deep understanding of the wine trade and Chinese wine consumers. She brings a highly complementary set of skills and ways of thinking to the current Founding Partner trio at Nimbility.
