Olivia Hung Joins Nimbility As Sales Director

Olivia Hung has joined Nimbility as Sales Director, based in Shanghai, to create and lead new business opportunities and develop relationships with key partners. Olivia will work with the Nimbility team and our producer partners to continue the journey of building strong markets across China and Southeast Asia. With over seven years of industry experience in international sales with importers and distributors specialized in the Asian markets, Olivia brings a wealth of knowledge, expertise and network to the Nimbility team.

Prior to joining Nimbility Olivia held the position of Asia Export Director for Chilean winery Viña Ventisquero, where she gained extensive experience and knowledge of the industry and building brands focused on Asian markets. Born in Brazil, she grew up in Chile and discovered her passion for wine in her early twenties. After graduating from London’s Central Saint Martins in Graphic Design, she lived in Taiwan for a couple of years before returning to Chile where she started working in export for Chilean wineries. In 2019 she took the plunge to move to Shanghai where she has been based since.

Working in sales in so many different countries has enabled her to slide into many different situations, working with different portfolios and embracing new challenges. She is fluent in Mandarin, English and Spanish, giving her a unique ability to communicate clearly between clients and customers.

“The world of wines and spirits is endlessly fascinating to me,” says Hung. “It brings people together, takes one’s palate traveling to places, and appreciates the artistry of the producers. This is the industry where I want to continue developing my career and demonstrate my skills in developing remarkable brands in international markets.
