The Duppy Share Rum, the UK’s best-selling premium rum brand, has joined forces with Nimbility to support their expansion across APAC and is setting its sights on finding top rum- loving distribution partners in the region.

The Duppy Share is an independent rum brand, founded by George Frost in 2014, that has seen explosive success in UK and other export markets, with a creative brand image, great storytelling and a quality product that delivers the best experiences from the Caribbean. The Duppy Share is a balanced blend of premium rums from the beautiful Worthy Park Estate in Jamaica and the prestigious Foursquare distillery in Barbados. The portfolio comprises 4 different expressions from Duppy White to Duppy Share XO.

Duppy White is a vibrant celebration of Jamaica and its influence on the world. 100% Jamaican white rum with flavours of mango, pimento and fresh thyme, for 100% Jamaican flavour. Produced and co-founded with musical pioneer Kano – this is a rum five years in the making; born from the memories, smells and flavours that reflect his Jamaican roots and the profound impact of Jamaican culture on London and the world. Duppy Share Aged is sourced from two of the most prestigious distilleries in the world. The blend contains a 3-year-old 100% pot still rum from the Worthy Park Distillery, Jamaica combined with a 5-year old 100% column still rum from the Foursquare Distillery, Barbados. The blend is versatile and balanced, designed to pair perfectly in your favourite rum cocktails.

Duppy Share Spiced is a blend of 2-year aged rums from Jamaica and Barbados spiced with vibrant pineapple, kola nut and island spices. It is naturally spiced with ginger, vanilla, cola, grapefruit, pineapple, clove, nutmeg, basil and orange. Perfectly balanced and uniquely complex, this rum is designed to pair perfectly with your favourite mixer.

The latest addition to the portfolio is Duppy Share XO, a blend of 5, 8 and 12 year, finely aged, 100% column still rums from Barbados. Rich, indulgent flavour notes are balanced out with lighter, more chocolatey-sour ones as the younger and older rums react to each other. So how about the name? What are the duppies? Duppies are Jamaican ghosts with a special love of rum. As a spirit ages in barrels, a certain amount is lost through evaporation over the years. Known as the Angels’ Share in Scotch whisky production, this is far too tame for the world of rum! Caribbean legend has it that the dark Duppy spirits swoop between islands stealing the best share of the rum as its left ageing in old oak barrels.
