We will not only showcase many of our top brands, but also organise and chair the much-anticipated conference ‘The Changing Landscape of the China Market: The Path Forward’. Nimbility was first introduced as a business at Vinexpo 2018 in Hong Kong, we fully launched at Vinexpo Shanghai in 2019 and now we will be celebrating our fifth anniversary at Vinexpo Asia 2023. We are thrilled to be exhibiting once again with Vinexpo and taking advantage of the highly productive business platform it provides.”

Set to be an unmissable event, this year’s China Conference ‘The Changing Landscape of the China Market: The Path Forward’ will kick off with an overview of the fundamental changes that have taken place in the China market over the past three years, presented by Nimbility’s Co-Founder and CEO Ian Ford.

This will include a detailed look at China’s import statistics explaining the impact of two seismic events - Covid-19 and the effective ban by China on wine from Australia – on consumer demand and behaviour along with a number of observations that point to the consolidation and rebalancing of the China market. The new landscape of the China market, including channels, trends and key digital platforms, will be discussed by a panel of experts who are witnessing these dynamic changes first hand, providing advice and guidance for businesses that want to lean into this hugely significant wine market.

Panelists include Olivier Six (CEO of EMW Fine Wines), Craig Aldous (GM of VSPT China), Richard Li (Director of Canaan Winery and Domaine Franco Chinois) and Nichole Mao (Partner at Nimbility). The conference will conclude with an extended Q&A session for audience members to pose questions to the panel.

On Thursday morning, Nimbility’s co-founder and CMO Francesca Martin will participate in a panel discussion on ‘Empowering Women in Wine & Spirits’ as one of four panelists. The conference will be moderated by Nimmi Malhotra, Wine Writer, Editor & Judge, who, along with Francesca, will be joined by Janice Chi, Master Sake Sommelier, and Crystalla Huang, Brew Master of RedDot BrewHouse. This inspirational panel discussion brings together these four influential women leaders from across the world of wine and spirits to examine the impact that female leaders can have in the industry. They will share their inspirations, challenges, failures, and achievements, along with words of advice for the new generation.

Lightening the late afternoon mood on Tuesday and Wednesday, Nimbility’s guests will be invited to enjoy a ‘Happy Hour’ featuring a selection of specially selected wines by the glass, Gin & Tonics with Mirabeau Dry Rosé Gin and beers from Singapore’s Lion Brewery.
