Maison Mirabeau, founded by Jeany and Stephen Cronk, is the realization of a dream and the pursuit of a deeply held passion for creating beautiful moments for everyone that go above and beyond people’s expectations. Leaving the leafy suburbs of London, twelve years ago, with their three young children in tow, they headed for the blue skies and sunshine of Provence.

Armed with big ambitions to make a world-class Rosé wine, and willing to challenge established wisdom, they founded Mirabeau. Today, Maison Mirabeau includes a core brand range (imported in Singapore by Crystal Wines), consisting of: Mirabeau Classic, Mirabeau Pure and Mirabeau Etoile, which remains a true expression of the ‘best of Provence’. The innovative Atelier range, which includes: Mirabeau La Folie Sparkling Rosé, Mirabeau Forever Summer, and its latest addition launched last year, Mirabeau Belle Année, Vin de France, presents the brand’s playful, slightly adventurous side, including new formats of Mirabeau Belle Année BIB (Bag-in-Box) and Prêt-à-Porter Canettes Rosé to Go.

The family have added a farming adventure of their own with Domaine Mirabeau, a stunning property that is in conversion to organic, as well as adopting regenerative farming practices.  This pretty estate is situated in the middle of a nature reserve at the foothill of the Maure mountains on the way to St Tropez and boasts one of the most idyllic surroundings imaginable.  The limited quantity estate wine is partially oak aged to craft a richer and more complex rosé that has some ageing potential.  The Domaine also serves as a creative hub, with typical interior design and the Mirabeau kitchen to develop the great recipes for Provence inspired food and cocktails, which the brand is known for.

Situated in the heart of Provence, Maison Mirabeau has evolved organically to be the number one French rosé brand in the UK and has consistently been rated amongst the world’s best rosés and Gin, winning a host of medals and awards. These include a Gold medal at the 2020 World Gin Awards and Best Design and Packaging Trophy from the Drinks Business Awards 2020 for its stunning bottle whose design was inspired by the Provence town of Grasse, the iconic perfume capital of the world. The range is now available all over the world in some of the best retailers, bars and restaurants and boasts a very loyal following.

At its core, Mirabeau Gin is a classic juniper-led Dry Gin. Using a 100% grape-based neutral spirit, tying into Mirabeau’s heritage, provides a uniquely round and smooth mouthfeel. Distilled in small-batches in a copper still with a blend of twelve unique botanicals, the core seven macerate for 24 hours. Lemons and Coriander add layers of fresh citrus character. Orris and Angelica roots impart floral and earthy tones respectively. Rose Petals, Lavender and Jasmine are used sparingly to bring a variety of floral tones. Finally, Bay, Thyme and Rosemary add a finely balanced herbaceous character to the blend. For that added Mirabeau touch, rosé wine is added pre-distillation to give an extra round dimension. Distilling vapours delicately extract flavours from Rose Petals, Jasmine, Lemon Zest, Bay Leaves and Lavender that are suspended in basket. The result is a Juniper-led gin of three balanced profile pillars - citrus, floral and herbal – and is perfect sipped neat, as a G&T or the base for your favourite cocktail.

“We are really excited to be launching Mirabeau Dry Rosé Gin in Singapore,” says Founder of The First Pour Derrick Quek. “In a market that is now inundated with gins from around the world, it is imperative to be offering something entirely unique. With its beautiful packaging, dry-palate, pale pink hue and natural Provence botanicals, Mirabeau have managed to create something that will undoubtedly stand out from the crowd.”
