Pratham Wahi Joins Nimbility As Export Director

Pratham Wahi has joined Nimbility as Export Director, to manage commercials into APAC markets outside of Mainland China with a focus on South Korea, Taiwan, Indonesia, Malaysia, India, Thailand and The Philippines.

With an MBA from HEC Paris and eight years of experience in significant cross-function positions in both corporate and entrepreneurial models across the drinks industry, Wahi brings a wealth of experience to the Nimbility commercial team where he will report into Founding Partner and Chief Revenue Officer, Polly Aylwin-Foster.

His successful management of large and complex markets across Asia-Pacific for Milestone Beverages HK Ltd, including the set up and management of distribution networks in eight different countries, spanning eighteen import partners, including King Power, Dairy Farm, Hite Jinro and Carrefour, brings additional in-depth market knowledge to the team and will inform Nimbility’s expansion into key markets and with key players throughout the region.

Wahi’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to start Drinksdeli back at the height of the COVID-19 crisis in April 2020, with a vision to reach the at home consumption occasion of wines and spirits, which traditionally has been a very small market in Hong Kong. A year later, sales have passed his expectations with a 50% customer return rate. His vision is for it to become a leading e-commerce and experience partner for key brands in Hong Kong within the next 24 months. The complimentary nature of the business fits Nimbility perfectly, and Drinksdeli is now listing five Nimbility brands and counting!

“I’m really very excited to join Nimbility” says Wahi. “The company’s market building offer is one of the most comprehensive that I’ve seen in the region and their portfolio is diverse and exceptional quality, making it a fantastic offer for importers looking to expand their selections. The company’s passion for entrepreneurship has meant I’ve been able to continue to build up Drinksdeli and create natural synergies between this online platform and Nimbility brands and import partners which has been a big plus. I’m looking forward to honing my skills and experience working alongside a team of true experts in their field.”

Polly Aylwin-Foster added: “I am delighted that Pratham has joined the Nimbili-Team. His experience working in key markets across APAC will bring a renewed focus, energy and determination to make wins for our brand-partners around the region as we move into the second half of 2021.”
